The short answer
What is the Snow Leopard Paws At You meme?
Snow Leopard Paws At You is a TikTok meme where a big-eyed snow leopard nicknamed Mei Mei holds its paw against the screen and people touch it back, and AI Meme Videos puts your own pet in its place from one photo in an 11-second clip.
Snow Leopard Paws At You is a small, soft meme: a snow leopard with huge glossy dark eyes sits upright and presses one front paw flat against the glass, as if it is reaching out of your phone. The caption is almost always just *paws at you*, written like a roleplay action, and the joke is that you are being pawed at by something too cute to ignore.
People answer it physically. The most watched clip we found shows a fingertip pressing on the paw pad, and other posts show a whole hand laid against a computer monitor where the leopard is set as the wallpaper. Fans call the animal Mei Mei, tag it #meimei and #snowleopardmeimei, and have already redrawn it as a cartoon and cut it into fast edits.
Where the big-eyed picture first came from is unconfirmed. The eyes look enlarged, which is part of why the meme gets filed under AI and edit content, and a CapCut template that recolours the leopard was being shared with tutorials by 1 November 2026.
On AI Meme Videos the paw belongs to your own pet. You upload one photo of a cat, dog or other furry animal, and it takes the snow leopard's place in the picture, keeping its own fur and face, with only the eyes made a little rounder and glossier for the meme look.
4 steps
How to do the Snow Leopard Paws At You trend
Upload one pet photo
A clear, front-facing photo of one cat, dog or other furry pet, with its face and at least one front paw visible if you have it.
Pick a model and quality
Standard at 720p is the default and costs 10 credits; 480p costs 5.
Generate
In a few minutes you get an 11-second vertical clip of your pet pawing at the screen.
Post it with the caption
Write *paws at you* and tag #pawsatyou and #snowleopard so people find it next to the original.
Beat by beat
The 11-second clip, beat by beat
Timed from the original clip. Every render follows this sheet.
| Time | Beat | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| 0-3s | Paw on the glass | The animal sits upright, one paw pressed flat to the screen, and a fingertip already rests on the pad. |
| 3-7s | Pushing back | Paw and finger drift a little left and right together, as if the animal pushes back. |
| 7-11s | The stare | The finger rubs the pad in small circles while the animal blinks once and keeps staring at you. |
Under the hood
Where it came from and how it is made
The most watched Snow Leopard Paws At You clip AI Meme Videos found is from @allison_konik, posted on 28 October 2026 with the caption "*paws at you* I'm so sorry". It showed about 604,000 views when we checked on 3 November 2026, and it is the clip our 11-second motion reference is cut from.
A fan edit by @nishigem followed on 29 October with about 238,000 views, and by 1 November there were monitor wallpaper versions, a cartoon redraw and a CapCut template tutorial. Who posted the very first one, and where the big-eyed leopard picture came from, is unconfirmed.

Your pet takes the picture
The animal on the screen becomes your pet, with its own breed, fur colour and markings. No snow leopard spots are left behind.
The meme eyes
The only change to your pet is the eyes: slightly bigger, round and glossy, which is what makes the original look so pleading.
The finger stays
The real fingertip touching the paw pad is kept, because answering the paw is the whole joke.
The original movement
An 11-second reference from the most watched clip we found fixes the tilt of the screen, the handheld wobble and how the paw and finger move together.
A quiet purr
There is no song tied to this meme, so the clip gets a soft purr instead of music; add your own sound when you post.
Straight talk
Before you upload
For the best result
- Face the camera. A pet looking straight at the lens gives the best stare; side profiles lose the effect.
- Light fur works well. White, grey and tabby coats sit closest to the snow leopard look, but any colour is kept as it is in your photo.
- One animal per photo. Crop group shots down to one pet; the clip has room for one paw and one face.
- Pets only. This page is built for animals. A photo of a person is not what the meme is about and is likely to come out strange.
Good to know
- One pet photo in, one 11-second vertical clip out.
- Your pet replaces the snow leopard; its fur, markings and face come from your photo.
- Only the eyes are made a little bigger and glossier, like the meme.
- A fingertip touching the paw is part of the shot; the sound is a soft purr, no music.
- Standard 720p costs 10 credits, 480p costs 5; credits come back if a render fails.
