The short answer
What is the APT. AI Dance meme?
APT. AI Dance is the AI version of the TikTok dance to ROSÉ and Bruno Mars' "APT.", where two people do the couple routine side by side, and AI Meme Videos makes it from two photos as a 15-second clip with the song.
"APT." is the October 2024 duet by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars, built on a Korean drinking game where everyone chants "apateu, apateu". Its chorus became one of the biggest dance challenges of that winter, and the most copied version is a couple routine: two people side by side, bouncy steps, arms over the head, then fists pumping at the shoulders on every "apateu".
The AI version takes that routine and puts any two people into it. Some creators recreate the music video's hot-pink studio with amplifiers and a drum kit, often with famous footballers or look-alikes; others just want themselves and their partner or best friend doing the dance they never learned.
Our generator follows the couple routine from a 37.6-million-view post filmed in a plain living room, so the moves read clearly. You upload two photos, one per dancer, and the render keeps both faces and outfits.
The picture renders silently and the matching 15 seconds of the song go underneath afterwards. AI Meme Videos is not connected to ROSÉ, Bruno Mars or their labels.
4 steps
How to do the APT. AI Dance trend
Upload two photos
One clear, full-body photo per dancer. The first photo dances on the left, the second on the right.
Pick a model and quality
Standard at 720p is the default and costs 10 credits; 480p costs 5.
Generate
In a few minutes you get a 15-second clip of the two of you doing the routine.
Post it
Tag it #apt and #aptchallenge, and tag the friend you put in it.
Beat by beat
The 15-second clip, beat by beat
Timed from the original clip. Every render follows this sheet.
| Time | Beat | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| 0-3.5s | Warm-up | Bouncy side steps and little kicks, side by side. |
| 3.5-6.5s | Arms up | Hips sway, then both wave their arms over their heads. |
| 6.5-7.5s | The dip | A quick bend forward, hands to the chest. |
| 7.5-9s | Apateu | Fists pump at the shoulders on the hook. |
| 9-12s | Knee pops | Hands on hips, knees popping side to side. |
| 12-15s | Finish | Elbow flaps and a last bounce, facing the camera. |
Under the hood
Where it came from and how it is made
ROSÉ and Bruno Mars released "APT." on 18 October 2024, and dance posts followed within days: a two-dancer comparison by @namdareun_ from 31 October 2024 showed about 46.8 million views when AI Meme Videos checked on 2 November 2026.
The couple routine our motion reference follows was posted by @jamesandjasmin on 23 November 2024 and showed about 37.6 million views; the caption credits the choreography to Felix Bringas. A purple-lit "MV version" by @johnnymatosoficial from 16 December 2024 reached about 43.3 million.
The AI duo wave came almost two years later. A pink-studio clip by @arminn.ai with two football stars, posted on 30 September 2026 and made with Higgsfield according to its caption, showed about 224,000 views. Our trend radar tracked APT. in October 2026 and it has since dropped off the active list.

Two dancers, two photos
The first photo takes the left part and the second the right; faces and outfits come from each photo, whatever the pair's genders.
The couple routine
A reference cut from a 37.6-million-view living-room post sets every step, so the fist pumps land on the hook.
Clean background
A bright, plain room keeps the attention on the two of you rather than on a studio set.
The song
The picture renders silently, then the matching 15 seconds of the track are laid under it.
Straight talk
Before you upload
For the best result
- Full body, both photos. Feet and legs are half the dance; photos that show them give cleaner steps.
- Similar framing. Two photos taken at a similar distance keep the pair the same size on screen.
- Ask first. Only upload a friend's photo if they are happy to be in the clip, and only adults.
- Outfits carry over. Matching colours or a leather-jacket look, like the music-video versions, make the duo pop.
Good to know
- Two photos in, one 15-second vertical clip out.
- The couple routine to "APT.", fist pumps on the hook included.
- Each dancer keeps the face and outfit from their own photo.
- The song is laid under the clip after it renders.
- Standard 720p costs 10 credits, 480p costs 5; credits come back if a render fails.
- Not affiliated with ROSÉ, Bruno Mars or their labels.
