The short answer
What is the AI Dancing Ghost meme?
AI Dancing Ghost is a Halloween meme of ghosts dancing in AI video, and AI Meme Videos turns your photo into a pale, glowing, see-through ghost of you dancing in a candlelit stone hall for 7 seconds, music included.
The AI dancing ghost meme is a Halloween joke with a simple picture at its heart: ghosts, the sheet-over-the-head kind or the pale see-through kind, that would rather dance than haunt. AI video tools made it easy to set them loose in candlelit halls, ruined ballrooms and city streets, and each October a new batch appears.
The most watched AI version AI Meme Videos found is a short clip of two white sheet ghosts and a black-robed figure dancing in a stone hall lit by candles, one ghost with a skeleton showing through the cloth. Other takes include a ghost bride waltzing with a skeleton, a glowing see-through dancer on a neon street, and photo apps that put a person next to a dancing skeleton.
There is no single routine or song that everyone copies. What the clips share is the look: white, glowing, slightly transparent figures moving loosely, as if they weigh nothing, in a dark and grand setting.
On AI Meme Videos you upload one photo and become the ghost: your own face, hair and clothes, drained to a pale glow you can see the wall through, dancing in the candlelit hall with the other two figures and the music from the source clip.
An honest note on timing: our trend radar marked AI Dancing Ghost as past its peak on 27 October 2026, and Halloween 2026 is now over. The page stays up for anyone still making ghost clips, and for next October.
4 steps
How to do the AI Dancing Ghost trend
Upload one photo
A clear photo of one adult with the face visible. Full body works best, since the whole ghost dances on screen.
Pick a model and quality
Standard at 720p is the default and costs 10 credits; 480p costs 5. Landscape is closest to the original framing.
Generate
In a few minutes you get a 7-second clip of you as a dancing ghost, music already on it.
Post it
Add #dancingghost and #halloween, and maybe a caption about who is haunting whom.
Beat by beat
The 7-second clip, beat by beat
Timed from the original clip. Every render follows this sheet.
| Time | Beat | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| 0-1.5s | Arms up | The ghost sways with both arms raised, turning on the spot. |
| 1.5-3s | The spin | A spin with arms flung wide as the black-robed dancer steps in. |
| 3-5s | Puppet sway | Bending and swaying, arms crooked as if hanging on strings. |
| 5-7s | Shuffle out | Light bouncing steps, arms swinging out, landing on the beat. |
Under the hood
Where it came from and how it is made
The clip our motion reference is cut from was posted by @mkafajakaram8420 on 28 September 2025 with the caption "Spooky Ghosts Dance Like You've Never Seen Before!". It showed about 56,400 views when AI Meme Videos checked on 2 November 2026, the most of any AI-made dancing ghost clip in our list.
The oldest post we found is from @thedancingghost1031 on 10 September 2022: a small sheet ghost wiggling on a black screen, tagged #aigeneratedart and #greenscreenvideo. Whether it was really AI-made, and whether it started the trend, is unconfirmed.
The most watched "dancing ghost" post in our list, about 355,000 views from @agentghost32 on 24 October 2026, is a live-action comedy skit with painted performers, not an AI video, so it is not used here.
The burst radar saw AI dancing ghost clips around Halloween 2026 and marked the trend as fading on 27 October 2026. New posts were still appearing on 1 and 2 November, but with few views.

Only one ghost changes
The stone hall, the candles, the window, the black-robed dancer and the second ghost stay, so it looks as if you joined their dance.
A ghost of you, not a sheet
Your face stays visible. Your hair, build and clothes come from your photo, washed out to a pale glow you can see through.
The moves
A reference cut from the most watched AI clip we found sets the spins, sways and shuffles and keeps them on the beat.
A camera that sits still
The shot never moves, which keeps all three dancers in view.
The music on top
The audio from the source clip is laid under the finished video from the same point.
Straight talk
Before you upload
For the best result
- Light clothes glow best. White or pale clothes in your photo turn into the most convincing ghost.
- Show your whole body. The ghost dances full length, so a head-to-feet photo gives the render real legs and shoes.
- One person per photo. Crop group shots down to one adult; the generator makes one ghost.
- Save it for next October. The trend is past its Halloween peak, so a clip made now may land better next autumn or on a spooky anniversary.
Good to know
- One photo in, one 7-second clip out.
- You become a pale, glowing, see-through ghost dancing in a candlelit stone hall.
- Your own face, hair and clothes stay; there is no sheet over your head.
- The music from the source clip is added under the video.
- Standard 720p costs 10 credits, 480p costs 5; credits come back if a render fails.
- The trend is past its Halloween 2026 peak.
Questions at the fence
AI Dancing Ghost FAQ
What is the AI Dancing Ghost meme?
AI Dancing Ghost is a Halloween meme of white, see-through ghosts dancing in AI-made videos, and AI Meme Videos turns one photo of you into a 7-second clip of you dancing as a ghost in a candlelit hall.
How do I make an AI Dancing Ghost video of myself?
On AI Meme Videos you upload one photo, keep Standard 720p or choose 480p, and press generate; your 7-second AI Dancing Ghost clip comes back in a few minutes with the music on it.
How much does an AI Dancing Ghost video cost?
An AI Dancing Ghost video on AI Meme Videos costs 10 credits at the default Standard 720p and 5 credits at 480p. If the 7-second render fails, the credits go back to your balance automatically.
Will I be under a white sheet?
No: an AI Dancing Ghost render on AI Meme Videos keeps your face visible and takes your hair, build and clothes from your photo, then makes you pale, glowing and slightly see-through. The 7-second clip shows a ghost of you, not a sheet.
Is the AI Dancing Ghost trend still popular?
Not really: AI Meme Videos' trend radar marked AI Dancing Ghost as past its peak on 27 October 2026, and Halloween 2026 is over. New posts still appeared on 1 and 2 November with few views, so a 7-second ghost clip may do better next October.
What music is in the AI Dancing Ghost clip?
The AI Dancing Ghost clip on AI Meme Videos uses the music from the source post by @mkafajakaram8420, labelled "original sound" on TikTok; the track's real name is unconfirmed. It is added under your 7-second render.
Who made the first dancing ghost video?
The oldest dancing ghost post AI Meme Videos found is a sheet ghost on a black screen by @thedancingghost1031, posted on 10 September 2022 and tagged #aigeneratedart; whether it is AI-made or the first is unconfirmed. Our 7-second reference comes from @mkafajakaram8420's 2025 clip, about 56,400 views.
Can I make a dancing ghost of a pet?
AI Meme Videos' AI Dancing Ghost page is written for one adult person per photo, because the routine needs arms and legs. A pet photo may not work well, though a failed 7-second render returns its credits.
Can I make a dancing ghost of a celebrity or someone who has died?
AI Meme Videos' AI Dancing Ghost generator is meant for a photo of yourself or of an adult who agrees to it. TikTok has celebrity ghost dances, but 7-second clips made here should show someone who said yes.
How long is the clip and what shape is it?
Every AI Dancing Ghost video from AI Meme Videos is 7 seconds long, the length of the source clip. It is vertical by default for TikTok, Reels and Shorts; landscape is closest to the original framing.
Is this a CapCut or PhotoRevive template?
No: AI Meme Videos is its own generator, and its AI Dancing Ghost tool makes the 7-second clip from your photo on this site. Some TikTok ghost dances credit other apps, such as a PhotoReviveAI tag, which you would use inside those apps.
